Crater Lake

Here we are at Crater Lake, and I know we tend to throw this word around, but it is truly awesome. It's a miracle of nature! Dylan had work in Klamath Falls (interesting sidenote: there are no falls there. They changed the name of the city to get more tourists, and as a result they have gotten a lot of angry tourists). Then we headed up to the lovely Crater Lake, on to Bend/Sunriver in central Oregon, and up to the Zig Zag River at Mt. Hood. And even though I barfed the whole way down (don't eat only fruit pizza for a whole day), it was a lovely adventure over all.

It's good to see your family take a vacation. I hope that you weren't sick for long.

I was only ralphing on the way down. Dylan got a speeding ticket and I wrote and appeal about how he must've missed the sign because of my cookie tossing, so hopefully it gets us off the hook. I was only mildly grumpy the next day and back to my radical self the day after. Once I saw the astonishing plentitude of stars in the night sky while camping, everything else melted away and I was at peace.
