Thanks to the officers responding to the 911 call of a little girl who couldn't find her mom. Mom was found in the basement (where she said she would be) folding laundry and plotting to take over the city.

Awesome poses! We're ALL about that at our house. Did she really call? Just goes to show you shouldn't fold laundry.
Sometimes I call 911 when there is no food in the house. I actually did something like that when I was like 6 and afraid of the dark. Only I lied about a man trying to get me off my bike and my Mom didn't know it never happened until last year. WHOOPS! I don't think the cop would have smiled if I had just said, "I was really just afraid of the dark"
Speaking of being a wimp, I once called 911 because I saw a rainbow through the window right as a butterfly fluttered by.

I call 911 when I can't find matching socks.
Don't be deceived, readers. Bruno rarely wears matching anything! I got the package, Pops!
Yeah, speaking of wimpy. I once called 911 when I was downtown and saw this man lying in the street with a knife sticking out of his stomach and blood everywhere. Kinda silly, I know.
Once my grandma called 911 when she came out of the bathroom and noticed her cornbeef and cabbage were missing. She reported them stolen. However, she forgot, she did not actually have any cornbeef and cabbage. True story. The police came and everything.
Did they really call 911? My kids never listen to me when I tell them where I'm going and where to find me, they just like to run around the neighborhood and tell everyone that I've abandonded them, don't tempt me kids!!!HEHE!!
Everyone, yes, she really did call 911. And the officers were so nice, telling her it's better to be safe the sorry (essentially). My eyes were so big as I came up the stairs and saw a cop. He just said, "Everything's okay! Everything's okay!"
And I am reading this while answering 911 calls from little kids. - granny g
