Look at this super cute card I made! To make it you will need:
*17 pieces of coordinating, cutesy paper, totaling about $19
*10-12 cutesy sayings and baby related clip arts
*4 glue sticks
(NOT the washable kind that easily come out of your son's hair. Why make it so easy on yourself?)
*1 hot glue gun and 2 hot glue gun sticks (the kind that leave long glue strings all over the place)
*Cutesy scissors - the more the better! Try 8 or 9 for real variety!
*36 inches of pretty wire
*Wire Cutters
*Wire benders
*Wire grippers
*Bandaids for wire related injuries
*2 yards of cutesy ribbon (five coordinating colors/patterns)
*Several dozen stickers
*Various buttons
I didn't have anything else because my budget was shot with the first two pieces of paper, but feel free to use rivets, glitter, embossing, stamps, "special" crafting sandpaper, eyelets, brads, colored staples, fabric, precious gems, locks of hair, and anything else costing absurd amounts of money in the cutesy section at the local craft store.
**8 hours of quiet, uninterrupted crafting time. Forget baby feedings, cleanings, getting glue out of hair, etc. This is YOUR special crafting time.

This particular card was made for a fellow non-crafter, my best friend Sienna and her perfectly perfect new baby. A good laugh was had by all.

Wow that is really....good effort! haha. You're my favorite.
Down with wasting time! Down with wasting money on cards! Down with bad feelings! Stop the card making! We feel bad when we throw away a card after 2 seconds of "ahhh" and 3 seconds of review!
Let's all stop this movement before we tear each other apart and our landfills get filled with expensive paper!
p.s. Nice roses- it gives a really nice touch.
I still buy cards at the store. Do you remember that when you really loved someone you just bought them a hallmark card?
Yes! Amen! Thank you, guys! Just buy a card and RECYCLE the ones you're done with. I don't even wrap presents anymore, so even a hallmark card is a big deal from me! I wish you could see the real life dimensions of this thing. It's like 12 " x 18". Truly awesome.
...and to think I was the recipient of such a thing! I went ahead and spent a few hundred more dollars to have it bronzed and stored in a high security vault.
