Gage kept flip-flopping about what he wanted to be. The one he stuck with the longest was Batman, so I made him this totally kick-butt cape.
Then he decided he wanted to be Spiderman, and I was like, "Oh no you di'n't". Then Superman, Buzz Lightyear, Ironman, back to Spiderman, Batman again...Finally I told him, "Gage, you need to choose a costume and stick to it." He thought about that and said, "Which one will get me the most candy?" This is what he came up with:
You can't see all the eyes on the hat I made, but this is Nash Potatoes.
Liv the Ballerina, with that special "purple undies sticking out" touch that only she can pull off.
If I were the president I'd be....
And the big hit of the night:
Dylan the Robot Elephant and his signature Trunk Dunk. He dumped out his trunk at the end of All Hallows and CHA-CHING!! Loaded with goods.
I'm pretty bummed that my days of amazing family themes are basically over. I'm hoping somehow I can convince everyone to be crazy cool stuff next year and start on the most incredible costumes ever some time in mid-August. Sigh. But, hey, robotics and 3 superheroes in one? Not bad.

that is so weird, you look just like honest abe. Yeah, I thought you would make the best, "Incredibles" family because everyone just fit right. - Granny G
You'd be Babe-raham Lincoln!
I'm glad you are teaching your children the true value of Halloween. "Which one will get me the most candy?" Priceless.
Oh my flip-if only my fam were dat kewl. Nash Potatoes??!! hahahahaha
Those costumes are awesome. I never knew President Lincoln had such sass!
Nash would be a movie star up here with that get-up!
Can I have the cape when Gage is done with it?
Love your costumes, I think you guys are the family winners.
I love it. Gage is a riot, very thoughtful about how to get the most loot. You guys are so much fun. We miss you.
