Poor Miss Liv has been in a brown room with a
RoboTank on the wall for quite some time now. Whilst she was at her Gammy's for a week, I did this:
First quilt ever! Look at me go!
No seven year old girl's room is complete without something Hannah Montana. I think it's actually a law now.

Boo-yah! That quilt is AMAZING- especially for being your first. Are you pulling our legs? There's got to be some kind of quilt in a museum or somewhere that you've already constructed.
Live is so lucky to have such a hip mom. I bet she loved it when she came home from Gammy's! The colored shelves are a nice touch as well, and btw thanks to Liv, Dylan and Gage I love Hannah Montana too.
As a girl...I would be horrified to have a room that looked like that! It's so not girly and looks like you bought everythign at the goodwill and maybe you did. I cetainly wouldn't be surprised!
I don't know what Anonymous is yacking about, but that room rocks!

Liv is reaching that age where she's not so much into fluffy, frilly, Disney Princess stuff. So I was going for a room that would stand up well through the "pre-teen" years. Some of my teenage neighbor girls flipped out, and one of them painted her room the same bright Aqua color because it was so cool.
I do need to get her a new desk. The one pictured is a spare end table from the living room. Not very hip.
This is gorgeous. The room I was meant to have as a child . . . sigh.
