Olivia started off her long school career at public school, where she enjoyed wearing whatever the heck she wanted, like a ball gown and tap shoes. During free play time, while all the other kids sat on rugs with their chosen toys, Liv stood in the middle of the room and did her dance moves. At one point she came back to earth and poised the question, "Why isn't anyone dancing?" with exasperation, then returned to Princess Fairy Ballet Island in the Clouds.
Two weeks in, there was a call from the Noah Webster Academy, a new charter school in the area. The teaching techniques and fundamentals are outstanding, and I was thrilled that the opening for Olivia had come. However, they are of the uniform persuasion, and have guidelines for shirts, skirts, headbands, socks, and belts. Ugh. But none for shoes. Hmmm. That's where Olivia comes in, grabbing the most metallic pink new princess cowgirl boots she could get her dainty little fingers on. They go perfectly with the sparkly pink backpack and pomegranite pink trenchcoat. And even though not as flowy, the uniform skirt is still dance-able.

Now there's a girl after my own heart.
I don't even want to think about greg-o in metallic pink cowgirl boots and a pomegranite pink trenchcoat!
She'll show them!
Check and see if they have a policy on teeth and/or hair. I'm thinking some bling on her teeth and a funky fro would really set her apart.
Yeah, a big ol' gold grill!
