When The Cat's Away

It's 1:15 pm. Olivia has been at school for a good 45 minutes. The dominance established by eldest sibling is lifted for a precious few hours each weekday, allowing the subordinate child free reign. And what, might you ask, is his first order of business in departing from the continuous suppression?

Wearing the shudder-inducing, tattered pink Princess Genevieve dress formerly reserved for only the governing head of the offspring. By way of redemption, an insect and canine zoo was neatly orchestrated, complete with an astounding system of roads and bridges.

But rest assured that when the phrase "Liv will be home soon" was uttered, the threadbare gown was returned to its rightful bin, and the spiderman hat/underwear combo was donned once more.

Gage better get the DOT to fix those bridges before I drive on them. The only thing that tempts me is the large insect exhibit at his zoo.

While I don't particularly agree with Gage's decision to put the gazelle in between the grasshoppers and the dogs, I do think he was smart to span the bridges by 4 and have Lassie test it out before any humans use the motorway.

It's funny because a couple weeks ago when Leah went out of town, Dylan showed up at our house wearing one of her ball gowns! And then he and Joe played Halo3.
