Bryce, Bryce, Mighty Nice

Have you ever watched one of those shows where they care for a wild animal, and once it's ready, release it back into the wild? And then the animal just darts off and goes berserk in its natural habitat. That's what it was like when Gage set foot on the first trail in lovely Bryce Canyon. Stick collecting, rock in stream throwing, fallen log climbing - he was in his element.

Liv had scientific explanations for most everything, including: "Looks like a beaver tried to eat down this log, but decided it wasn't fit for his home."

A simple mile hike took us hours, seeing as how we stopped to feel the moss and collect rocks and look over the edge and touch fuzzy plants and chase water skeeters and....

We stayed in a quaint cabin for two nights with no cell phones, no computers, no demands.
Nothing but love.
